Ottawa area theatres are now selling tickets to AoE, just grabbed mine (Thursday June 26 showing!!!!)

I believe all Cineplex theatres across Canada have the tickets available. I just bought mine for 9pm thursday in Imax.

And on friday, I will go to Toysrus, show them my ticket stub and get my prize

I have an UPDATE!!!!!! :p

Was at toys r us on merivale (in Ottawa) and they now have the masterpiece grimlock!!! ($99.99 plus tax)

Also, got my movie stub thing done there (I had 2 stubs), got a kreo microchanger and a mini poster (not huge but bigger than a peice of paper). On top of that, each scratch card has a coupon on it for $10 off a $50 transformer purchase until July 25, so I saved $10 on my grimlock :p

They should be letting you keep the scratch card after you scratch it, the $10 off is on the back of it.

hmm... wonder if i should preorder or roll the dice and hope to find one in store. ive been pretty lucky up till now, but ive only seen one grimlock once so far. makes me nervous, though demand will be much different.

anyone know if they do they do local pick up? if theres no shipping charge i might do it.

Why would you wait to see it in store? You think it would be cheaper? Because shipping it to your door would be free with this preorder. Also, I do not assume there will be a lot of these in store and I foresee a rise in the price as well. Di you remember how much the TRU acid storm cost?

Also, it seems that the Eolution 2 pack for Optimus will only come in september at the earliest.

If you scroll down a bit on this page, you will see a release schedule for transformer toy annoucements. The only TRU exclusive left this year is the Evolution 2 pack for Optimus.

like i said, ive been lucky and have found all the TRU MP's released. allbeit in limited numbers (sometimes only a lone MP and only found once) but i did find them. and the reaction to this figure was even less receptive than acid storm was. so im pretty confident.

HOWEVER. is shipping is free, ill probably just order it.

The only problem is the only things worth ordering online at TrU are the ones not available to Québec because of the usual shenanigans.

Did TrU Canada finally pulled their head out of their asses and allow some goddamn FRENCH on the exclusive TF MP boxes so it can be fawking sold to fawking QUEBEC at fawking last?

MP Sunstorm is up for pre-order at http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp ... d=41326066 and look like it DOES NOT SAY "English Edition". Unfortunately, we cant buy pre-orders via Paypal.

August 8th 2014. Let's see if TrU is still full of bullshit or if they finally came to reason.

(I'm sorry to be so bitter and angry toward them, but you will be too if your region were singled-out and you were NOT ALLOWED to buy anything that matter from them. It's kinda like a RACIST segregation.)

seen the TRU grimlock AOE evolutions two pack a couple times. very nice G1 color scheme on the energon grimlock, if you like that mold. twas priced at 50 bones.

Has anyone seen the Target exclusive pack yet with FoC Grimlock repainted to G1 style with, correct me if I'm mistaken, but I believe it was silver knight Optimus of some sort?

the AOE exclusives are starting to show up, but i still have yet to see the walmart and target exclusives on canadian shelves. the one youre looking for is on shelves across the boarder, and since i dont have much faith in the targets in my city i bought mine from a fellow seibertronian megatronus.

just saw AOE voyagers galvatron and hound at one of my TRU's yesterday.

i passed on both though. galvatron has SO much sculpted details left unpainted that it bothers me. hound looks good, though with all the multipacks coming out im sure ill get a hound out of one of those.
