What was wave 2?
Guess I should buy Grimlock and Astrotrain first then.

Wave 2 had Grimlock and Mirage as the new figures along with some of the guys from Wave 1. Wave 3 introduced Ramjet and Cliffjumper to the mix. Astrotrain was supposed to be in Wave 1 (cheers yet again Hasbro UK
).

Bastards.
At least Wilkos are on our side.
I just wish they'd go back and stock the older Titaniums we never saw.

SWEEP ARMY ATTACK!
That, and Soundwave, are the only two Titaniums my bro intends to buy.
That leaves me with:
WWI Prime
WWI Megs
WWI SS
WWI TC
WWI Jetfire
WWI Fallen
WWI Prowl
WWI Grimlock
to get. Damnit. Expensive year I'm having
Still, if Wilkos did get em, that'd make em £13 a pop. So 8x £13 = £104....
If I had a job, I'd buy em all tonight.
I was gonna work at TRU Shrewsbury, but I can't travel there every day cos of where I live and costs.
But I really wanna. I'd get access to all the tfs they keep hidden back there...

Have you seen the Cybertronian design for Soundwave in Megatron Origin 2? I've got Titanium Soundwave and WW Megs next to each other on the shelf and I'm now convinced that I'm going to have to find another of both to tear apart and make something resembling that design.

The Titaniums should be 2 each of Magnus and Megatron to a case and assuming that this is the exact same case breakdown as the Wave 3 Classics in the States I believe that there should be two or three Ramjets to a case. Astrotrain and Grimlock (1 of each per case) are going to be the problem figures to track down. In the US they'd both been in previous assortments but we got stiffed on Astrotrain in Wave 1 and never saw Wave 2. These figures are from memory, so I may be a figure off somewhere, but that's about the size of it.

Excellent.
I have already seen Ramjet and Magnus in person, but that was in FP and there was no way in hell I was gonna pay £14.99 for Ramjet and £22.99 for Magnus. But these prices I can justify.
However, I live in the North, and we seem to get less up here. When everyone was reporting the Magnus/Skywarp in Woolies, there was absolute zippo in both of mine. So it may be iffy if I do see these.

It seems to be more of a store by store thing than area by area. Middlesborough had everything that I was after barring Astrotrain, couple of miles down the road in Stockton nothing. You could always try asking the staff if they can order you a case in and save what you're after, seems to be working for some folks on here.

Has England run out of Barricades? I can't find any anywhere.
Also, is Wilkinson's the best price for Classics at the moment?

I assume youve tried TRU already? You could sue Ebay...

Teeside TrU had ONE. I bought it!
Whilst we're on the subject, Im getting happier...
Got myself Movie Barricade and Reissue Skywarp from TrU, then got home, (after watching Bourne Ultimatum (good film) and found that my WSTF Hot Rod and Encore Soundwave (complete with wonky con symbol, d'oh!) had arrived from Xybertoys!
Happy happy, Smilly smilly.
Acording to my mate, the local Wilkinsons (Bishop Auckland) has bugger all, but Darlington Wilkos has some classics and tit Magnus.

Aye, I knew of the KO, but having bought the KO Devastator and wstf Devastator, I didnt fancy a KO set of G1 trainbots.

Doh! Completely forgot that there was one in Darlo. My mother works up there so I'll ask her to have a look in and see if she can find that elusive Astrotrain. Just him and Devastator to go to complete Classics.

gotta admit those KO combiners look pretty tempting, seeing as theyed only be used for display rather than play...are they worth £15-20 tho?
edit: i just noticed some of these are the mini ko combiners...hmm they arent worth £20...but are the full sized one?

Good question, as I'm half interested in a Devastator

yeah me too...and Superion, shame the Menasor has the wrong limbs, but Predaking, Defensor, Bruticus, Devs and Sups seem fine, if slightly the wrong colours (but still ok)

I have the WSTF Devestator and Superion,
They're not great, but I goit them for peanuts so can't moan too much.
Plastic quality is Poundland level, stickers aren't that sticky and they have a habit of shedding limbs and armour.

On a similar topic...anyone got any of the KO casstte 2 packs? How are they? If i get a TRU Soundwave this weekend id like to get the Frenzy/Ratbat pack so i have one of each type of cassette (bot, bird, cat and bat)

Full sized dev is crap. Poor qulity, very shaky, easy to break, and frankly dosntl look all that nice either.
Mini dev is a lot nicer, it is better put together, more solid, and less likly to break (no really it is). Only downside is it still sufferes from QC issues, mine for instance is missing on of the small robot's heads (and my complainet to the ebay seller resulted in a half arsed reply followed by total ignoring).
He looks fantastic stood with the wstfs though, I wish Reprolables would do a sticker sheet for him (I may have to email em about it).

If anyone's nr Reading before the end of the month the pop in to the Fraiar St bookshop,
It's closing in Sept and they have everything at half price.
Not too much TF stuff, I got Optimash Prime and a few books, but loads of Dr Who and Manga bits.
