I just called every Wal-mart in Chicagoland, and they do not have any. The good news: the UPC turned up in the system! One extremely helpful manager found himself puzzled that the computer wouldn't even tell him what stock they had, but found none with a visual check. Another told me they had none but had 18 on order for arrival in 4-6 weeks, which if it's generally true would return us to the Black Friday scenario, with our Missouri SS as a fluke. No one 'round here has any, but they at least know what we're talking about now. That's a big improvement.

I've read that he's 8.5 inches tall, 10" tall, 12" tall ... did anyone actually measure a MP seeker yet?

I can do this later when I go home.

I have Skywarp, so I can guess that he's like 10" tall in robot mode.

Maybe the 8.5" is for jet mode?

I dunno,I'll measure him later ... after I stop at all 3 WM's on the way home from work this morning.

Im not gonna sh*t my pants just yet... THis maybe a bit of a fluke that only one person happened upon one figure. I remember reading a thread from someone saying that they got a pallett of them that said do not display till NOV.22 or something like that.. If thats true then this person may have just gotten lucky and found something that wasnt supposed to be on the shelf yet.. Nonetheless, Ill let you know if I see any! ;)^

48.00 dollars-that will better balance out the Pre-Order price. Guess I'll buy two and keep one in the box. It will be interesting to see if this was a fluke or not. At 48.00, less than retail, wouldn't that suggest that the price might be less as a BF special?

So they did change the UPC! Well that explains a lot of the problem. Dang.

Good to see he's out.

EDIT: Just called two Wal-Marts, gave them the UPC, his info came up correctly. Then...here came the bombshell. "He's a non replenishable item. We cannot order more, there are none in the warehouse, none in transit and none in the store. Meaning we got them in and sold out. I'm sorry." I told them both that it was a Wal-Mart exclusive and the one said "Well then that explains why we don't have anymore. We ordered exclusive items in low numbers this year so we wouldn't be overstocked as bad. First come, first serve, anyone who misses out is stuck. Sorry."

I'm wondering if this is all true or not...I'm hoping she's wrong, because if she's right...a lot of people are SCREWED.

Just called all 7 of my local walmarts. For the ones that were willing to look it up for me over the phone... UPC is in the system... None are currently in stock... 15 - 25 ordered for each of them. Shipment expected 4 - 8 weeks

Hmmm, that's interesting. If it's true, I'm going to be a bit happier about the preorder. It's going to be interesting to see how this all pans out.
