Masterpiece Starscream out at US RETAIL!!
anyone in the philly suburb area find one yet? i don't know what's with all the wm's here but it's like retard central at all the local stores. half the time i call, i'm literally on hold for like ten minutes and just hang up cause i can't take it and one store(harleysville) even refused to look up the upc for me. another store looked up the number and she said it's not registering and so i asked her if that meant her store won't get it and she said that's correct but then i asked her if she could check other stores in the area and she told me that no store within 30 miles would be getting it. so does that mean anyone in or near the philly area is outta luck? RETARDED. JUST RETARDED. now i don't know what to think.

I'm near Reading and I've called about 5 Wal-Marts and I have the same problem. I get put on hold forever and I rarely actually get someone in the toy department. After many tries I did finally get someone very helpful, they looked up the UPC and said they are showing 18 on order, and she thinks maybe sometime next week they should arrive. Wouldn't surprise me if all the Wal-Marts in our area will be getting them around that time. Good luck!

That's just a general response for... we don't know. They might very well be in tomorrow.

couple stores around here are getting new shipments of stuff tomorrow. and now that the tf craze has dwindled, most stores are pretty stocked with all movie figs, so i think once they get out, they'll stick around for a few days. there's still tons of leader megs, brawl, and primes, and dvd primes, and death stars to leave most questioning what to get for the occasional tf purchase.

I personally enjoy the hunt... it makes it interesting and it's a pretty sweet feeling when you walk into the toy dept and see what you've been looking for staring right back at ya!
If I don't get it after about 1 month of the general release... I may just buy it on ebay cheaper than now because there will be so many auctions for it.

I didn't mean any knock to you. Sorry.
I enjoy driving, personally. So jumping in the car with an excuse to drive all around town is something I love. When the I got the last of the things I wanted from the movie line, truthbetold, I was a little sad. No more wasting gas...
>.>
It was just refreshing for me to know I wasn't the only one out there who felt like this. Although Mental Dragon probably likes the hunt for the hunting part of it and I like the hunt for being behind the wheel part of it... The point remains we both like the hunt.

I have a 1 hour commute, a busy work schedule, and a four month old. I just don't have the time now... although I do like the hunt. The good news is, SS will be here by next Mon-Tues. I probably should have waited but I really didn't want to miss him.

Truely understand... I wasn't trying to diss anyone. I have a 1 year old son and a 3 year old son... my 3 year old goes on the hunts with me and that makes it that much more enjoyable!
Everyone's situation is different... I really wasn't trying to diss anyone.

bot32 and xgamer -thanx for the pix. Both of them were sweet. Even more of reason to love this new MP SS!! Little did SS know that the very same gun (modified, of course) he was carrying would one day kill him!!

I've been looking for him in NW Illinois, so far nothing.
Maybe Wal-Mart should take lessons from Target about how to distribute exclusives, I've had no problems finding Target's figures this year.

And one reason not to love Masterpiece Starscream, is the $94.99 price tag Big Bad Toy Store has slapped on him... The link is here: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/prod ... ode=retail[/code]

Bad news.... I was looking at some of the Japanese toy sellers and they said that the Takara release of MP SS USA has been postponed till next year (Feb. 2008).... that sucks. My Japanese isnt that great, but Ive checked multiple websites and it says the same thing. I guess WM is your only shot if you want one this year. I hope this isnt old news.

Yup, three out of the four links indicate that SS has been postponed until the beginning of February for release in Japan. Two sites indicate that the release date shall be February 10th.
e-Hobby is still indicating that they will get their shipments in January. Perhaps they will get their shipments early or perhaps they are just behind in updating their website.
