Having driven myself crazy by my own unwillingness to remove Encore Soundwave from his box, I did the most sensible thing: went and got another one. It was such a thrill to apply all his stickers and transform him again after 20 years..but damn, I forgot how hard that little '010' sticker is to apply!

Also picked myself up a TRU reissue Sideswipe.

congrats man. i watched that rm ss one but just couldn't do it for more than $20 shipped. I placed a bid for an MISB rm ss $18 shipped several weeks ago, thought that was a bit too much, got sniped for $.5 and was not upset.

I was bidding on a MISB Collector's Club Airazor (the Slugslinger repaint) and was sniped by ONE DOLLAR with 5 seconds left. Broke my heart man...I had picked out a space for her in my collection and everything...

In my sorrows I got Energon Rodimus and Prowl. I've been wanting a powerlink figure for a while...I guess they'll do. Oh, and I'll be picking up metalic Ratchet and the TF Movie tomorrow from Best Buy. Still, I sure wanted that Airazor...

Hi all! I'm not sure if I'm in the right place for this, so 'scuse the noobness. Anywho, I just got back from Target and picked up a Recon Barricade. They did, however, have the normal one. Should I have gotten the regular? Thanks for any help.

Got the movie set with the robot heroes and the metallic Megatron at Best Buy this morning.

I like the packaging for these figures. The "DESTROY" or "PROTECT" carved into the plastic on top with the faction symbol is a nice touch.

Grabbed a stupid metallic finish Ratchet -- the last figure left! -- because our Best Buy sold out of the things in a freaking hour. I really wanted the Megatron.

Two-disc special edition DVD with hours of bonus features and packaged with Robot Heroes battle-damaged Movie Prime & Movie Cliffjumper.

Didn' see the voyager exclusives. Asked a saleswoman about them, she said they were in the back and she'd go get them for me. A nearby fellow collecter was eavesdropping very closely and took up a arms-crossed-over-his-chest right next to me about three feet away from the door to the back room. She came out with a dolly loaded up with four boxes. She cut open the first box and pulled out one of eachand handed them to the guy next to me. At that point, all the collecters noticed and swarmed the poor lady. She grabbed another Megatron and Ratchet, handed them to me and tossed the box aside. I handed the Ratchet back. Wasn't interested. Quickly made a beeline for the checkout lane. By the time I got there I was hearing the disappointed & angry cries of fellow collectors as the final two were snatched up.

A smile was on my face the whole time home. Well, except for when I made a stop for gas at a gas station and the woman behind the counter told me that the fuel tanker was running late and the entire gas station was, get this, out of gas! :shock:

If a gas station has that kind of sales, they should consider adding another tanker shipment to their weekly deliveries manifest.

Later went to a local Walmart and got:

Transformers Movie 2 Disc DVD Set (Movie + The Beginnings) $19.96 regular price & no free toy :-(

No time to head to Best Buy, the metallic Ratchets must be gone now. Oh well...

Got Armorhide and Elita-One at a Target yesterday.

Got Megatron and Ratchet at Best Buy at Noon-Thirty. Still had tons of Ratchet and three or four Megs. Very suprised they hadn't been scalp fodder before that.

Didn't notice til I got home that Ratchet's arm wasn't attached.
