Re: Transformers War for Cybertron: Earthrise Discussion Thread
FYI - Airwave and Allicon just showed up on Target.com. Get them while you can. Limit of 2 per order. I'm getting 3 of each.

I used their app and searched "transformers airwave" and "transformers allicon" to find them. No wifi to try on a computer right now, but I'll see if I can find and post them when I get home.

Am I the only one amused by Earthrise Megatron's catalog renders being less flattering than actual in-person photos? Usually it's the other way 'round with the catalog pics!

Potential War for Cybertron: Earthrise Sunstreaker and Trailbreaker Listed
- Weapon: Vibro-Axe
Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronian Cassette Dan, we have some interesting news to bring to you. According to a listing at UK online retailer Zavvi, a Deluxe Earthrise Sunstreaker and Trailbreaker are coming in October 2020. If these listings turn out to be correct, they'd likely be coming out in Wave 3 of Earthrise. This seems very likely, given that site sponsor BigBadToyStore has two "Secret" figures listed for that wave, alongside Fasttrack and Runamuck.
While this should be taken as a rumor, pending official confirmation of these two figures, it seems likely, given that Trailbreaker toys are usual retools/repaints of Hoist toys, and Hoist has a toy in the current Wave 1 of Earthrise. Whether a potential Sunstreaker would be a retool of Wheeljack, as many have speculated, or his own mold remains to be seen.
Speaking of speculation, what do you think of these potential new figures? Let us know below, and stay tuned for all the latest Transformers news!

If these are true, it won't be a shock, but a welcome confirmation. Those are 2 I will be picking up.

Wouldn't be surprised if these two are real, but I think I'll pass.

That is awesome about Sunstreaker. Looks like he will be replacing yet another Classics of old in my Neo G1 collection.

Definite yeses for me. I think T30 Trailbreaker is ugly, Universe Sunstreaker is meh, and CW Sunstreaker doesn't count.

I believe both of these were found in a set of leaked listings back in December that also included the majority of what we just saw at Toy Fair plus a Rung reissue in Wave 2 with Slitherfang.
I'm good with keeping these two characters as Sky Reign limbs in my collection, so I'll pass. Between Toy Fair reveals and Selects leaks, I'm going to be getting more figures than I originally predicted this year anyway...

Whoo hoo, scored Grapple and Starcream today. Travelling for work means I have the whole evenings free to hunting and now that that is completed, enjoy my new finds. No luck finding the Earthrise Battlemasters anywhere, but have seen quite a bit of Rung and Singe in the Boston area.
I was originally going to pass on Screamer since I am all in on the Siege seekers, but at the Target sale price of $20, plus BOGO 50% sure I'll take both for the regular price of Grapple on his own.

i would like to see jazz redone in this trilogy given the same G1 treatment as the other earthrise figures
since we only really got RTS Jazz and POTP Jazz(and the Takara version) both are still great but dont fit in with the current feel of War for cybertron if these rumors are true that means Jazz is the only one left to do from the first season of G1

I do need a Sunstreaker, but after this weekend I was hoping he wouldn't come until later, my want list is now quite intimidatingly high.

Assuming that wave 3 will be Airwave, Allicon Sunstreaker and Trailbreaker, I do find it pretty interesting that Hasbro is trying to keep the 2 much better known names secret while revealing the lesser 2 known figures and making them available for pre-order. Well played Hasbro.

Swap Airwave and Allicon with Fasttrack and Runamuck and you got it, Airwave and Allicon are Wave 2.

Yep, that is where I was going with that. Too much revealed from too many lines and waves plus the Target sale insanity. Circuits are overloaded.

Re: Transformers War for Cybertron: Earthrise Discussion Thread
Found something interesting out at Target when I found Earthrise Screamer and Grapple today, and further confirmed it on Entertainment Earth.
For Earthrise, Hasbro has apparently increased the cases from 2 to 3 figures, which may eventually lead to some shelfwarming if they did not pick wisely on who gets shortpacked.
Here are the wave breakdowns:
Wave 1 - 2x Grapple and 1x Starscream
Wave 2 - 2x Snapdragon and 1x Starscream
Wave 3 - 2x Megatron and 1x Quintesson.
Massive boooo on wave 3. Hopefully Target will come through on the Quintessons I ordered.
Also, Entertainment Earth has Wave 1 battle master sets with Smashdown and Soundbarrier up for pre-order, but no individuals.
