I'm thinking one of each, Inferno with the chest mod, Trailbreaker with only modded legs.
till all are one.

Okay then.
I know it's been a long time since I updated, but I've been waiting for the right set of stickers to come out. Reprolabels had mentioned that they were planning on releasing an Alt/BT conversion kit for Red Alert using the Prowl mold. I asked them if they could customize the set for me by making the backgrounds clear instead of black/red/white, as I had already painted mine.
Well, the stickers finally arrived, and Red Alert is now complete.

I should have a gallery taken soon with better pictures. But at least you can see how he looks completed.
Thanks to Reprolabels for the customizing of the sticker set to work with my repaint!

I've debated with the waist, and I've decided not to. I've seen other kitbash/repaints where he's done up with the red and black waist and legs, and it does look good that way. But I like the way the lighter gray legs work with the toy.
At one point I was thinking of doing the waist in black, but I think I'll leave it as is.
I did paint the back plates to mimic the original Red Alert's front legs

And the legs reversed (or turned back to normal...at least below the knees)

If you had wanted to do the Legs and not deal with painting them the best i could say would be to dye them
