An interesting battle...
While they're similar in some respects (well...I think they are), their combative ethics are quite different.
When motivated, Dead End's quite the warrior. Conversely, it would seem Thundercracker's passive manner, results in that lack of an itching-for-a-fight attitude (unless told otherwise by Megatron).
Okay. So let's say Megatron's pulling the puppet's strings, and Motormaster's slapping around Dead End, riling him up.
You have to give the advantage to Thunder, as he has the safety of the skies and superior firepower and speed. The again, little kiddies could be running about, and Thunder may become hesitant...
If it was a strictly ground based battle, then I'd give it to Dead. I think he'd just pummel the blue and silver Seeker into the dirt...or concrete.

Do you really think Dead End is more aggressive in battle than TC? I'm not sure about that.

Dead's a Stunticon, and they're pretty wild. More so than the Seekers, in my opinion.

Re: G1 Thundercracker vs. G1 Dead End
A somewhat odd match-up, but I'd go with Thundercracker. He definitely has the advantage in terms of speed and firepower. True, Dead End can outmaneuver him on the ground, but that's not much of an advantage against an opponent who can effortlessly take to the air. And I haven't even mentioned TC's ability to produce sonic booms.
The only real way I can imagine Dead End winning is if he catches Thundercracker off guard on the ground (having tracked him with radar), speeding towards him in vehicle mode while plummeting away with his rear-mounted cannon. That's only if he gets lucky enough to have the opportunity, though.
(For the purposes of this thread, I'm assuming they're equally motivated, and that there are no humans wandering around to give TC cold feet!)

T drops big bombs on DE and wins. He won't go near until he's sure that DE is neutralised.
