for the record, I'm still complaining about the price, and the size increase. I was really pleased with Rager, and looked forward to a legends-sized collection of articulated minibots. the prices the originals were selling for was just right, and I'd probably have got them all. Now, I don't care enough about most of these characters to pay this much for them, especially for them to be out of scale with most of my existing minibots. wouldn't have been so bad if either Maketoys or iGear had continued their line at the legends size and the other had upscaled for the plenty of people that prefer the taller bots, but Maketoys seems to have given up on making any more.

I've been bitching about the price every time a new product comes out form them. I'm just getting the guys from the show. Had prices been more reasonable I'd be tempted to get them all just for completeness' sake.

Also still annoyed they want to force us to buy two. Screw that.

But you can only complain about something for so long before it gets old. Doesn't mean it doesn't still irk, it just means there's not a point in talking about it (in regards to these figures).

Still, despite my irritation I'm looking forward to their Wheelie. It's everything I want in Wheelie, including size.

hmmm... I wonder if Gears is going to end up being bigger then the new Trailbreaker.. =/ It looks like it will in alt mode. Really wishing they would of kept the original sizing now.

I really don't want to pay the $55 that BBTS and other retailers are charging either but he is pack with outback... and I hated that mold... I learned to accept it as brawn because there are really no better options but I refuse to buy a repaint of it. =/ really sucks how they are making you buy these in two-packs at Igear. I wouldn't mind buying Gears and Swerve together even though they're the same mold cause that Swerve looks like it jumped straight out of MTMTE!

The last time I ordered directly from iGear BBTS actually got their stock first. So I think I'll wait until the end of the month to ship my loot out. There's a lot of stuff I have preordered that's all coming out this month.

I'm looking forward to BBTS getting these in. I've ordered 3 of them. I've decided to get the other Gears instead though.

All 4 got added to my pile of loot today. I'm surprised nobody posted this yet. But I'm not shipping until those TFC Aerialbots arrive.

Yeah, me too. I was sorely tempted by iGear's, but after seeing the SXS version, it became a no-brainer for me (although I'm not invested in iGear's size/scale/style either since I don't have any of their other mini-bots).

I have considered getting their Seaspray though, particularly the metallic/G2 version. Do any of you have him? Is he worth the $40 BBTS wants for him?

Sorry if this is too OT, I'm just wondering about it is all, and if I got Spray, it might persuade me to invest in more of their bots, particularly Duneraker.

Not sure Seaspray is the best comparison for the mini-bots that have been released since him. I didn't get Seaspray, but did get Huffer, and comparing him to Brawn and Cosmos he comes up short in my opinion (no pun intended ).

I have all three of their Sprays (heh)and dig them all. it is worth noting that no modifications were made to the mold so the chromed areas are VERY tight around the joints. But to be fair the only spot that has chrome wear is the elbows. the ankles are a separate piece of plastic that slides inside the foot and the shoulders are sockets that attach to the chest assembly. I suppose the fist hole where you insert his harpoon gun will see some as well.

I really hope duneraker gets the G2 repaint as well

I would love to get that G2 repaint and all the E-Hobby repaints. I have the first four plus the Pipes and G2 Spray repaint and theyre all awesome. The only problem is Spray and Rager are too damn small (about the size of McDonalds happy meal toys)I don't like SXS Gears at all. It's just too Hasbroish. Other than the colors and the head, it reminds me nothing of Gears.

If you're talking about those blue bits, they're from turning the cab around. If you ignore that part of the transformation, like in the official images, then they won't be a problem.

Yes those blue tabs.. so Official transformation will have those tabs there but the official images are doesn't and is mistransformed? looks better mistransformed then!

I'll be leaving him mistransformed as well if turning the cab is part of the official transformation.
