I don't have him, but he is a cool figure. If you can find him for a decent price, go for it.

He's a Pretty good figure, but poseability is quite limited. His knees do bend, but his legs don't move outward or anything. They just stand straight down.
His arms have slightly better articulation., with several joints.
He has a minicon port on each arm that can accommodate pretty much any minicon. Nothing gets in the way or anything.
And he's got a few gimmicks. His little race car partner Minicon is also ice.
So if you don't mind the stiffness, yeah go ahead and get him.
I think however that Skywarp has the better remolding and color.

if you're into Seekers and Armada then definitely SS is a must-buy. but if you like your toys playable and poseable, then the lack of useful joints may turn you off.

all the comments above are the HUMBLE OPINIONS of the said user only. 'nuff sed.

I have all three of the armada seekers and I dig them.
Skywarp is the clear favourite though, his remold really added to the design.

Be aware that there's quite a bit of difference between the Hasbro and Takara variants. The Hasbro version is made from light grey plastic while the Takara one is white and the paint aps for the faction symbols are a lot neater on the Japanese one. If shelf space is at a premium that's another thing to bear in mind with this figure. Due to the nature of the electronics the figure has a 'backpack' that sticks out a mile and quite a large wingspan in robot mode. To get Starscream, the Sam's Club repaint, Thundercraker and Skywarp displayed together they have to sit on top of my shelves to make sure they've got enough room.

Related to this:
I actually recommend the American version of Starscream if you're going to get a few seekers.
The American versions have the 'vulture' style nosecone. Ie, it is pointed slightly down. (supposedly a safety precaution? I've never bought into that though). The Japanese have a straight nosecone.
At any rate, you can assemble a whole team of American toys that will have the same features, or a mix match of Japanese and American.

He looks awesome, looks way better than Energon Starscream... and larger!
Get Armada SS, in either "powerlinx/TC-colors" or regular. He rocks. I would say that he's one of the more.. alright molds of Armada.

I've also wanted to pick this one up, but a couple things have turned me off: the lack of vertical tailfins and the huge back kibble. And now the limited leg articulation, hmmm. I like both modes, but I'll have to look at his gallery again to see what he can do.

Personally I don't care for the excessive back kibble. So if you're taking a vote, I'm a "no".
Cheers though, whatever you decide!

For loose or MISB? MISB, I'd agree, but loose, no more than $20, IMO.
