Golly gee gull dang it! Life is real lifey right now. We are about 4 weeks in on an 8 week Kitch-O-Tron remodel, and it has been all consuming of my mind, energy, and time. Not to mention I've been picking up a lot more hours at the studio.
Haven't had much time to play or even think about toys. Plus it doesn't help that we are kind of in the Transformers doldrums right now. Only two purchases left for me to complete what I want out of PotPie, and a good long while before WfC lays Siege.
I didn't think I'd give a hoot about the Bee Movie stuff, but the hype train blew through town and tooted it's horn in my face and I got all excited.
I started light with a couple of Legions for my desk at work.

I never put my expectations to high for Legions toys. There for I'm rarely disappointed in them. so from that perspective, these two are great!

Little VW is cute and fun.

Not so cute, but still fun!

No one has really brought up the fact that this Prime transforms EXACTLY like the older Geewuny Gen Legion Prime. Well, he does. Pretty cool how they just reskinned that guy to be all Moviey. The only let down is he has no shoulder joint, unlike his predecessor. But since he's just a little Legion it's really nothing to get worked up about. He doesn't have knees either!

Out of the way Prime!

It's my movie! I'm the STAR!
Again, perfectly fine and fun toy for a Legion. These guys make great little fidgety desk fiddlers for work.
I liked Lil Bee there so much, decided to take a little bit bigger bite of the Bumble Pie.
I went ahead and picked up Studio Series Bee.

At first I found this Bee absolutely infuriating! The transformation that is. Bot mode is tight and really cool. But man, to get him to VDub mode was a nightmare! After many deep breathings, much patience, and about 3 transformations, I was able to get him into alt mode much easier and tighter.
Now I find him to be much more enjoyable.

The battle mask is where it's at!

"Big B, little b, what begins with B? A barber, a baby, and a Bumble Bee." -
Dr. SuessHere's VDubs after the 3rd attempt.

I've since been able to get the hood and roof to tab in even tighter. Much more happier now.
Then I found these dudes.

I'd planned on picking up this set since it was announced. I'll take all the SW minions I can muster, and of course...
FRENZY!!!!!

A pile of Bee listers.
Sorry, the one step is really trashy. I actually appreciate the simplicity of the transformation, and that he has a little articulation in his shoulders, but beeing Bayverse Bee, he just turns into a robot that basically equates to a booger mountain. I do find the cute-ified classic Camaro alt mode kind of nice though.

Time to make a Mix Tape......
... of DESTRUCTION!!!

So psyched to have a
Frenzy to go with my
Rumble!
I really like Howlback too. I can't decide which Buzzsaw I like better, but I don't have to, I HAVE BOTH!
