Well, I was thinking to myself the other day that I wanted to tear apart and rebuild Constructbot Ironhide, but I wasn't sure where to go from there. The next two thoughts were BM Blastcharge and Optimus Primal, so this happened. :lol:

I hadn't originally intended to just swap his arms and legs, going through a few other combinations of things first, but this is the one I ended up liking the best...despite the somewhat silly altmode.

Those hip armor pieces make pretty convincing axe heads, but they don't quite have anywhere to go when he's not in robot mode, since they would keep the wheels from touching the ground.

Is there a thread dedicated to Constructbots customs anywhere? They obviously aren't as popular as Kreo, but I think they deserve some love, since you can do some pretty interesting things with 'em.
