Leave your batteries in your bigger toys or not?
eg. Leader Prime, Primus, Megs, whatever. Do you prefer to keep them out or do you like the lights and sounds display?

I left the batteries in my Optimal Optimus for two months. And the battery started leaking.
I had a hard time cleaning OptOpt up.

It's easier typing 'OptOpt' rather than 'Optimal Optimus'.
Lol.
Of course, the leak might be due to me not using the electronics for a month.

I use them once or twice during the intial "go sappy at having a new Transformer" stage, after that it's "Hello Screwdriver" and back into the box for the toy.
I just don't have enough display space, therefore they have to stay unused in storage for months at a time before I take them out again to play around with them for a bit.

You definitely want to take the batteries out then. You could dig them out after a few months and they'll be fine, but they could just as easily have leaked battery acid all over the inside of the compartment and fused to the connections. Best not to take the chance.
I generally take the batteries out, especially for figs with sound effects, since I often find the effects are too easy to trigger (like by turning Armada Megs' turret), and get very annoying very quickly. There are exceptions, but not many.

I always take them out if I'm the one who put them in. I remember BND when Omega Supreme's batteries leaked and the whole battery connection was ruined.
Now, if it came with batteries already installed, like 20th ann OP or the light for Primus key, I leave 'em in. But I took out the batteries that I installed for Primus.

Stuff it. I've taken the batteries out of my Leader Prime and Megs. Best not risk it.

you'll be glad you did in 10 years when you wanna put the batteries back in to show your seeds what things did before they all were rechargable..

The sounds usually annoy me so I take out the batteries the day I purchase it. For MP Prime & Megs I've left theirs in because the lights are alright, they only activate when you really want.
I haven't even heard the sounds RiD Prime & Magnus make... same with Cyb Vector Prime. Maybe I should try just for curiosity's sake.
