Movie Outback

Postby Spurt Reynolds » Mon May 26, 2008 9:21 am

Outback was always one of my favourite mini-bots back in the G1 days,so i thought i would give him a Movie update.
I based his vehicle mode on the Scorpion Desert Patrol vehicle with a TOW missile launcher.
Used Movie brawls head & made a few minor re-sculpts.
All other parts were from a Jeep kit wich happend to have the Tow launcher on it.
Outback was painted with Games workshop paints (Mainly Bubonic Brown,Dark flesh,Dwarf Bronze & boltgun metal)
Alt mode pics as soon as the varnish cures.
more pics here..

Motto: "Nobody has to look for trouble."
Weapon: Reciprocating Laser Cannon
Wow, Brawl's head looks good on that body. Great details throughout, any alt mode pics? Some weathering would look good on that color. Nice job. ;)^

Great custom! I just love and not just because I had a G1 Outback.

But I wish you used a darker shade, it almost looks like yellow. I thought it was a Movie Swindle.

WOW!
I was looking for a repaint use for that mold (my ones joints are getting loose & I was contemplating buying a second), congrats on a great job.
I was thinking movie Beachcomber, getting rid of the guns & giving it a thinner BB's head.
