If I can get a classics Grimlock for $15 without instructions or box should I go for it?

I would definitely go for it! That's a fair price and he's easy enough to transform without needing instructions! Just make sure he doesn't have any broken or really loose or missing parts!

It's a bit over priced, first I'd check local stores for clearance, Wal Mart's been selling deluxes for 3 bucks.

You could get an unopened one for about the same price...I wouldn't. But if you really want it that bad go for it.

Hm, I haven't seen any classics at our local walmart for a few weeks but if someone could link to a place to find it boxed at a good price I wouldn't argue.

Well if your in the Bay Area, we sure as hell aren't getting anymore Classics. I got Astrotrain back in July, and Cliffjumper about 2 weeks ago.
