It was a fun episode, if one isn't too nitpicky about things.

Agreed.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

It's strange because usually I'm not too nitpicky. It just seemed so naff this time around.

Nah, it'll be Halloween. Latest interview with Russel T. Davies said it's due out around November.

Two extra Tennant bits I don't see here yet. One interesting, one rather important.
New Animated Adventure On the Way:
A second animated story starring David Tennant as the Doctor will be broadcast later this year.
"Dreamland", written by Phil Ford, will comprise seven episodes of roughly six minutes each. This will air as part of the BBC's red button service and Children's BBC.
Also appearing in the story are Georgia Moffett ("The Doctor's Daughter") playing a character called Cassie Rice, Lisa Bowerman ("Survival" and the Big Finish Bernice Summerfield series), and David Warner (Tron, Time Bandits). Warner is also no stranger to Doctor Who, having played the Time Lord himself in two Big Finish audio plays released in 2003 and 2008.
"Dreamland" follows 2007's animated adventure "The Infinite Quest", currently available on DVD.
Ford has written for Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures, and his other 2009 Doctor Who story, The Waters of Mars (co-written with Russell T Davies) is slated to broadcast in November. Directing "Dreamland" is Gary Russell.
Tenth Doctor to appear in SJA:
The BBC Press Office has confirmed that David Tennant is to appear as the Tenth Doctor in the forthcoming third series of spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures, due to be shown on CBBC and BBC One this autumn. This will once again reunite the Doctor with former companion Sarah Jane Smith, played by Elisabeth Sladen.
The release also confirms that the series will again be twelve episodes long, and that it will feature an appearance from Doctor Who race the Judoon. Executive producer Russell T Davies is quoted of saying of Tennant's appearance in the programme: "Viewers thought they may have to wait until November for the next full episode of Doctor Who, but this is an extra special treat. And it's not just a cameo from David – this is a full-on appearance for The Doctor as he and Sarah Jane face their biggest threat ever."
Sladen is also quoted in the release, saying: "When I heard the news that David was going to be joining us I was absolutely over the moon. Not only has it made my day but it will also make the viewers' day."
For UK internet users, the Children's BBC website has made available a video interview with Davies where he discusses the Doctor's appearance in the series, which he says will take place across episodes five and six. The series is due to start broadcasting in September. BBC News also carries the video interview with Davies.

Looks like there will be a Torchwood series 4 since I doubt "series 3" will do poorly according to RTD.
He also talks about Matt Smith's 1st episode so be warned.

Ahah! A new Retro Tardis interior?
Daleks on the first day? Ho hum. Then again, Moffat's writing it: he probably won't have them be too silly.

So once again some Dalek, or a group of them, or whatever, managed to escape their apparent complete and utter destruction.
Yay.

I can sense the sarcasm dripping off this comment.
Message to the Doctor Who team: PLEASE retire the Daleks, or at least not use them for a really long time. They are to New Who what Unicron is to the A/E/C Transformers series: overexposed to the point to annoying.

See, I could handle the Daleks returning all the time, provided each story they were in didn't involve their apparent complete and utter destruction leading us to believe there's none of them around anymore!
Aside from nutso Dalek who some how managed to alter the entire time line.

Y'see, that's why I've come to hate how RTD used the Daleks. No matter how well written or anything they were (and I'll admit that, even though they had their moments of wrongness, they were all rather strong), the fact that they all ended saying "The Final End...except when we bring them back next season" left a bad taste in my mouth.
Then again, it's been "The Final End" ever since 1967, hasn't it?

Children of Earth starts tonight on BBC1 for any that weren't aware, according to the UK listings it's 5 1 hour episodes rather than standard length.

Had to adjust the paytv selection so I can get UKTV. They're fast tracking it from the UK so I get to sit down each night and watch it.

I truely enjoyed The Children of Earth series. I think that's the best Torchwood episodes to date.
Although I doubt they'll be running anymore judging by how they ended these episodes. Shame too.

It was very well done, Torchwood has gone from strength to strength with each season.
I would hope we see more, though they really have done a good job of closing it off. Time will tell. We have to put up with Jack for Tennant's last storyline don't we?

Looks like it. And with Donna coming back too, wonder if they can pull Freema off LAO: UK and Billie off Secret Diary of a Call Girl to make an appearance, too. I mean, the overflow of companions worked out so well in "Journey's End"...[/Sarcasm]
Also, and I'm really surprised this hasn't been made a bigger deal of in the Who community, it was announced a while back that Tom Baker will be returing to the role of the Doctor for a series of Audios for BBC Audio.

The Eleventh Doctor has been revealed!
The TARDIS exterior has been redesigned slightly too. The white window frames are back. Check it out on the official site.

According to The Sun Waters of Mars is set for Sunday 15th at 7PM GMT on BBC1. Presumably it's getting the Sunday slot so as not to interupt the current series of Merlin.
