Not much.
I mean, it's too small to be a good ship depot.
Your colony is a slot 4 right? I'd say that's the best position for metal/crys farming- nice and close to the sun, so that your solar plants cover a lot more of your mines' work, but quite a bit of space as well (so there's lots of room for expansion).

I bet the guy's a kid. Can't have what he wants, so he's throwing a paddy all over your system.

Frankly I don't see much difference in Deuterium generation but it's still early days for that planet.

The difference isn't much.
I think it tends to be 10 or 15 extra per level of deut synth on the rim. But that accumulates with each level- so in the end it is worth it.



I'd grab slot 3 if I were you too. They are great for met/crys farming.




I've just noticed that you don't appear as a strong player to me. That's kinda weird.

On the homeworld yeah. But so far no one's taken a shot at it.

Been playing with the simulator and really, unless you've got a **** load of RL's and LL's to sacrifice the shield's will fall pretty quickly.

Shields have an interesting effect: As long as they're up, they swallow the incoming shots, and all shields regenerate round-to-round (theoretically, I've not seen one in action - must be that 200 LLs that guard my planet...)

I might start colonising a planet closer to you.
At least you'll have some 'support' then, or somewhere to fleet save to. The colony would be absolutely useless as a farm world though, so it'd have to be an alliance outpost...

It wasn't the fact I just had 55 BATTLESHIPS turn up on my door step. It's the fact that I worry about said battleships turning up on my door step while I sleep that my sleep is being affected.

I've got other things in life to worry about, not what happens in some internet game. I went through that a few years ago with HMW, i'm not doing it again.

Call me a quitter if you want, but it's for the sake of my mental health.
