Finally got Bumblebee...both versions that is

Postby Galvatron628 » Sat Sep 29, 2007 3:25 am

Well in recent weeks I've been pretty frustrated. I have nearly all the movie toys I could possibly want except bumbebee and megatron. I really coulda cared less about 1970's bumlbebee, but I desired the 2009 camaro concept bumblebee. Well last week come thursday I was grocery shopping at Meijer and I saw 1970's camaro bumblebee. Considering I havent' seen any deluxes in a long time, I had to grab him, so I did. I was happy to just have a bumblebee.

The next day I went out clothes shopping as i just got paid. Went to JC Penny and no good sales. So I went to Kohls, and once again, no good sales. Frustrated that I sat out to go clothes shopping and I might come back empty handed, I thought about it and I remembered the "2008 bumblebee spotted at Kohols" threads. So I started looking around the store, and sure enough, turns out they DO have a toy section, and sure enough, theres the 2009 Camaro Concept Bumblebee. Not just one either, like 8... apparently I'm no the only one who thought Kohls didn't sell toys!

I bought him on the spot, and he's awesome! one of the best deluxes in recent history, and totallay owns the Classic camaro version! I know some would hate me, but I wager he might be better than Leader Class Optimus! While Leader Class Optimus is definitly worth the money, he doesn't resmeble the movie version as much as Deluxe 2k9 BB does!

Really happy with this toy

I just got both versions of Bumblebee yesterday. I really had a hard time finding the Concept Camaro version. Visiting the store to check if the restock arrived. Going there early so I may have a chance to get my own BB. But when I did, I agree with you, he is on of the most movie accurate figures of the line. The likeness is almost unbelievable since he is a Deluxe class toy.
