Ditto! I love the thing to death, but forget it! Heck, produce a plastic version this big (even if it's hollow), then we'll talk! I have an entire PA system/DJ set up, complete with lights, an LCD projector, screen, 2 large speakers, mixer, amp, stands, cords, etc. and it only cost about $2,200. Just putting things in perspective from my end.

That is awesome. However, they need a Megatron statue to accompany it.
Forget the price. Thats what Credit Cards and third mortgages are for anyway.
The real issue is space.
Mmm, I'm kinda bummed out now. I'm buying a place next summer. Till then I don't have the space to put it anywhere.
Well, this just got added to my Holy Grail list. I will definately have to hunt one of these down at some point in the future.
Besides, would be kinda cool to mail it to Ryan for a gallery.

The price is indeed shocking! So if I want it, I have to pay that plus a few thousand shipping costs..... not in a lifetime!

Man, we may need to start a Giant Optimus Prime Anonymous Club.
Get together everyday and say, "Today is day 4 that I have resisted taking out a Credit card and buying a 6 FOOT FIVE Prime."
SIX FOOT FIVE!!!!! Thats a 14 inches taller than my GF!!!
God, the more I think about this, the more I want it.
And to those who said aww it doesn't transform. Umm, even if it did, I think transforming a 4000 dollar, 200 pound figure without damaging it would be a tad too risky.

As a card-carrying nutter, I think that $4,000 is a bargain. I will buy a truck-load and use them to start a theme park. Transformerland will look sensible sited next to that Creationist theme park (where the T. Rex's play happily by the little children without eating them).

Non of you guys aren't thinking of the major cash money maker that thing can be.. You take that thing around to local fairs and festivals and charge 5$ a pop to let people take there picture with it and you will be rolling in the money LOL, little kids would go nuts over something like that LOL.
If i had the money that is exactly what i would do with one of those lol..

I dunno if you'd make any real profit doing that, but I'd have my picture taken with it. But then a pic of me between a Klingon and a Ferengi I met at the Las Vegas Hilton a few years ago still hangs on the door of the kitchen fridge.

My vote for the HOF goes to my favorite Transformer, Kup, to the Headmasters (who still need new figures that aren't just the characters without their master components) and to seibertron.com for for being the ultimate TF resource.

Nope too much. Would make a interesting conversation piece or to scare the **** out of doorknockers but the price doesn't justify the need to buy.

I had my picture taken once with the guy who played Quark, I wonder what that would make me?1337W422102 wrote:ShGarland_1383 wrote:But then a pic of me between a Klingon and a Ferengi I met at the Las Vegas Hilton a few years ago still hangs on the door of the kitchen fridge.

If they did a giant Starscream I would be like "Ohh" and "Ahh" and be filled with envy, but I don't think I would still buy it. Know if he was a giant Plushie and cost A LOT less, maybe.
But at that price I would rather make my own.

I think it's a fake. If it were real, bigger, more seductive photos would be required to sell it.
For comparison, how much would it cost to hire a half-decent fabricator to MAKE one of these things? From scratch? Probably about 2-4K. Without shipping. What more would a theme eatery or comic-book store want? Could a private collector ever RESELL this garbage?

not sure if those pics are real or not, possibly photoshopped.

those pics are bigger and more obviously photoshopped. Look at where the feet meet the floor. The gun is also an untouched MP op gun, and the wheels are untouchedup, too.
Isn't the background pic the same exact image for both "photos?"

Action HQs pics make him look not so hot. Questionable paintjob, crappy looking windows and SHORTENED smokestacks???
However, for 2500, I'd definately have to think hard about this if it looked like a giant MP.
This, doesnt.
