I've found myself taking the hasbro FoC Kickback over the Takara one.

I know the Takara's more game accurate , but I really like the dominance of purple on the hasbro version. That looks less dark-ish than the other one, and actually the figure shines better.
Also the gold looks better than the light yellow, in my opinion.

What's your opinion ? (left:hasbro / right:takara)

In hand the yellow gold on the Takara isn't so yellow, but it's a tough one for me, both versions look petty sweet, but in terms of game accuracy, Takar wins

Yeah, seems like it's one of the rare times that the choice is tough.

Both are very good and quite different

If the differences are only in the shade of colors used, then I'm defaulting to Hasbro, which is the case here. Cheaper, and the differences are pretty much negligible.

I won't say that there are small differences.

One is more game accurate and the other more "shiny".

The hasbro one offers that splendid purple all over his body, which seems better to me

Game accurate is irrelevant for me because HasTak never ended up releasing the other two FoC Insecticons. Just go for the Hasbro one - cheaper and its the one you like more aesthetically.
