Nothing but love for Cliffjumper and Landmine. Camshaft is interesting, certainly better than the original deco on Swindle, but not really enough to peak my interest in buying. Hope these come out soon, but I'm not holding my breath.

Landmine's face: football helmet, bionicle head, Hannibal restraint and catcher's mask.
Whatever it looks like, that blue shining through it looks too awesome! I'm going to miss my $10 + tax

...from the looks of it, we're all going to be fighting in the aisles over Landmine:) I like that look, heck I might get two to turn out a Beachcomber kitbash. Cliffjumper...he's okay, but the poor guy's now been cursed to be Bumblebee's repaint, with no retool or anything... Camshaft, meh, but it's cool they're referencing an obscure character.

I feel like im one of the only ones that really isn't feeling cliffjumper. The red and white is just too much for me, maybe its just the wrong mix. I like the blues on it, but i think i might pass. Landmine's aight, i'll wait for a review on him. I like camshaft's design and colors, way better than swindles, although im not sure if its enough to get me to buy him.
but...ummm...
I really like the new packaging...haha. It really jumps out at you.

LandMine looks real intresting. However, like LongArm(an awesome figure), It seems (just by looks) he's been put in the wrong faction.

And...repaint of a shelfwarmer Decepticon Swindle?
Since when are ANY movie deluxes shelfwarmers? The only one I can even find with any hope of it being in stock is G1 redeco Jazz, and that's because each of my local Targets put a whole case of them out at every store and they have 4 or 5 left in stock. Everything else sold out long ago. The shelf warmers are the Cyber Slammers, the Real Gear and most recently the Tech Toys.
It is just me or does Landmin look like he plays hockey or something?
Just curious, are you gonna buy Movie Swindle if you see it in a store?

Landmine looks good, I'll get him, but the other two can warm the shelves as far as I am concerned (and I am sure at least Camshaft will)
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

I got him from Hasbro Toy shop when I ordered Pepsi Prime. They mistakenly listed him for scout price and I got free shipping. So he cost me $7.

[quote="Skowl"]
Everytime there is a Bumblebee toy, the G1 fanatics all clamor for a Cliffjumper repaint (because why should cliffjumper ever be anything more than just a red Bumblebee?), even when a repaint would be awful, case in point.

Ya know Skowl, with all due respect, I think you're WAY wrong on this one. I haven't heard ANYONE, G1 fan or otherwise, clamor for a repaint of movie BB. I personally like the BB mold in red, but I didn't clamor for such a repaint, and I never heard anyone else clamor for one, either. No one HAS to clamor for a red repaint of BB, Hasbro does it automatically.
As I said, I like this repaint, but I think it makes a better Windcharger than CJ. Makes much more sense.

Nice

I remember seeing him priced $6.99 at HTS site. I thought it was early clearance

If I ran Hasbro I'd have a simple rule:
NO REPAINTS WITHOUT NEW HEADSCULPTS!
If they'd given the Camshaft figure a new head, I'd genuinely be interested. With the same lenshead, that everyone hated in the first place, I'll definitely pass. There's a lot of other subtle things you could do that would add a lot of interest to a repaint. With the right choices, you can give an old figure a totally different feel for a relatively low cost.
Why do Hasbro have such a lack of inspiration when it comes to repaints? Fan repaints and kitbashes are always so much better.

Yeah, but thats Macross's deal, same bodies with new paint and heads. I think Hasbro still has the ol tail between the legs from the last time they took something from that like.

As for what Skowl said. I'm a fan who loves G1 and recognizes that it isn't the only TF line though. But I have to say me and from what I've seen most of us hate the idea of a red BB being a CliffJumper. The same head and lack of weapon ruined Classics CJ for alot of us, and I think that same sentament is continuing here.
Please don't mistake CLAMORING, for Hasbro being yet again uninspired and lazy
---------------------------------
HMMMM, wonder if these 2 ideas relate

No, you're right, fans never really did demand a Cliffjumper repaint (I did hear a few people say they wanted one though, that always struck me as odd, since I never thought a red '08 Camaro would look good, and it doesn't). Which means to say I'm more disappointed with Hasbro than with the fans. At least most fans knew the obvious Cliffjumper repaint would look ugly, but Hasbro still chose to make it, since we've bought ever other Bumblebee-to-Cliffjumper redeco they made, they're just sticking with the formula that works, a formula they have no thanks to us.

Thus, Allspark Power is the new theme. These new robots have been infused with the power of the Allspark, or some nonsense like that, which is represented by the little hints of electric blue coloring on all of this new wave of toys. Look closely - you'll see the same bright blue on every toy in the "Allspark Power" line.
Yeah I know it's a new allspark continuation to the line, but the two repaints don't appeal to me. Landmine does so I need one to keep moc one to open. This way I'll get the cool new packaging but with a toy I think looks good. Plus his "face art" is really awesome, like it has been for every TF from this line. Though it's sort of disappointing when the face art is waaaaay better than the headsculpt of the toy itself.

Not me.
Well, there's always some contrary individualist.

Wheeljack35 nailed it right off the bat, and my kids are going to say the EXACT same thing...Landmine has the head of a Bionicle!
The rest of the figure is awsome but the face is a blatant RIP OFF!!
No imagination on the part of the designer just outright thievery.
Cliffjumper, I'll buy. Camshaft looks lame but at least Hasbro recycled their own stuff. My enthusiasm for Landmine was high until I saw the crap they pulled with the head mold. It's gonna take a long time, if ever, before I get over this one. This was low even for Hasbro. Lego should sue their sorry butts for infringement.

I like the camshaft repaint but I won't get it because of the lens head.
