A KO?

Is that a KO? I'm suspicious, because he's selling a 100% complete G1 Scorponok for so low a price(.99), even though his shipping is 20 USD.

Any comments?

Motto: "I'm grade-A, 100% prime-cut final boss! I'm going to take over the world any day now!"
Weapon: Multi-Function Sword
It looks exactly like the one I had as a child. For items like this, starting at .99 isn't uncommon, as they get a lot of bids and become expensive very quickly.

Weapon: Switch Blade Tail
Looks legit to me.

I thought about that, but it still seems odd.

He's not selling it for 99 cents, he's starting an auction at 99 cents. This way people think they have a chance and bid on it, then start trying to compete with each other, and drive it up to standard pricing. Plus you pay less in listing fees.

QFT. a low starting bid doesn't mean its a fake, eBay doesn't work that way. smart sellers start low for figures with high market value so that bidding would be competitive - basically you're allowing the bidders to dictate the final price of the item being sold.

check it out in the last 24 hours and see the price difference from the starting bid to winning bid. :)
