I am not aware of Black Convoy (CR) so can't really give my opinion on this, but would this be a fight with or without the aid of Minicons?

I'm going with Scourge as he is called in the RiD version. Armada Starscream is the best Starscream after G1 Starscream, but RiD Scourge is an even better warrior and bad-a$$.

Black Convoy is the Japanese name of Scourge in Robots in Disguise.

And Armada Screamer would have Swindle, but that's it. Black Convoy would not have a Mini-Con, as there were no Mini-Cons in Car Robots.

Black Convoy/RiD Scourge if this is Armada Starscream from the beginning.
By the near end of the series however, Armada Starscream as he almost defeated Galvatron in a one-on-one duel.

Black Convoy has almost max tech specs so he has the advantage. Starscream might be able to wear him down with repeated air attacks but BC would probably shoot him down before he can finish the job. S's key advantage is Minicons. If he has even a few of those, he could overpower BC.

S is no fool. Discretion is the better part of valour. I see S volunteering to serve under BC rather than confronting him. Perhaps S can shoot BC in the back later, when his guard is down.
