good. let them save money.. or hell, find a new number 1 hobby. if you're ONLY going to collect
"classic" type figures, what's the point of being a fan in the first place? you get a few toys a year.. nothing to go along with those toys (no tv, no movie, no game) .. it just seems a little stupid to limit yourself to collecting just one style of something.
oh well.

Did they REALLY say "high value"?
I haven't see high value since AEC. These overpriced, fragile, undersized, virtually paint-less offerings of today cannot be classified as such by anyone other than the corporate spin doctors who wrote that hyperbole-laced blather-fest.

Who are you to tell people what to do with their time and money? What do I look like buying something that I feel is not at the level of the line I've been collecting since "07"? "Stupid" my friend is collecting any and everything just because it has a Transformers logo on it but have fun with that. Despite your thoughtless remarks, the Fall Of Cybertron game and the IDW comics will suffice plenty until retail does release figures that are worth while.

I now it blows....
But I am looking forward to FOC Shockwave. And although FOC Bruticus looks rather crappy combined I still may buy the Combaticons to display in robot form individually. Provided they release the game accurate figures in retail that is...

The "classics" lines represent G1 which has a series that consists of 100 episodes and a full length movie. Not to mention the Japanese series which ran until, 1991 I think. Im really not into video games so I could care less about FOC. A few of the figures are cool for a classics shelf if G1 folklore dates the characters back to early Cybertron. TF Prime is a joke. How you gonna have 2 complete seasons with only 7 Autobots, and 10 Decepticons ? I dont expect every character to get a figure, but sheesh why must the artists and writers be so lazy ? After 2 seasons I expect a s**tload of characters.

I isn't so much the writers or artists who are at fault, but the overall cost. Apparently it costs a butt-load of money to produce a CGI character and incorporate it into the action on screen. That's why I prefer cell animation, as it is less restricted in this way.
