For those that are concerned about the 2-pack situation, I suspect the normal crop of online retailers will have them separated.
That's just my guess.

Well whaddya know, I've also done exactly that.

The sight of that flower in Duneraker's gun had me actually lol-ing. They all look fantastic. I can't wait.

Gah, I hate iGear. Upping the price like that is just greedy. I wouldn't mind if the quality of the figures were slightly better, but they feel so bad when compared with FansProject. I suppose Gears remains a must-get by default, so hopefully I can (begrudgingly) fork out for him on his own.
Greedy shysters.

Just pre-ordered both sets. Not happy with the price increase and if anything else comes along that is better value (SXS Gears?) then I'll cancel my pre-order.
The long wait is good for two reasons; plenty of time to save and other companies have time to try and take our money away from iGear

I love how they mark up the price on Beachcomber and Gears individually... They know that they will be more in demand than the other two.. Sad. But it is business..
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Re: iGear Cogz/Bushwhacker/Duneraker/Veer
I put in a preorder for the individual Beachcomber and Gears. But I gotta say, I'm not too happy with it. These guys have become overpriced. If they had remained $15, I may have gotten them all just for the Hell of it.
Is there anything else to look forward to regarding these guys? Just Powerglide? Had he been $15 I may have gotten him, but I think I'll stick with the Hasbro version. Or track down the Jazitoys KO.

They better enjoy their price hike-up while they can... it's likely to be the last things I buy from them.

Re: iGear Cogz/Bushwhacker/Duneraker/Veer
I got a Veer with one shoulder backwards. Anyone have this issue and interested in a trade? (His shoulder is backwards, showing the hollow area. Looking at his robot mode, it's the one on the left (or "his" right, if you were actually the robot yourself. It's actually the incorrect part, so can't be simply turned around.)
Shoot me a PM and maybe we can avoid trying to work through two companies up the chain to iGear for replacement part.

Hopefully mine will arrive tomorrow, I'll let you know. Is the shoulder part easily removable, or pinned?

I think you can pop out the top portion of the arm from ball and socket to do an easy switch. I'll double check later and snap some photos. Thanks for the follow up

Man, I got Cogz and Duneraker, I got to say I'm disappointed.
Why is the plastic the dull plastic. I think Cogz would have benefitted from something more shiny like Hench.
And that Blue on Duneraker? Why? I don't think I can preorder these things ever again because they will never match their painted prototypes.

Agreed.
Do not buy these. Cancel the. If you have.
iGear did not deliver what they advertised. The colors are garbage.

Oh, boy. I just shipped my PoL from BBTS. Hopefully I won't find Gears or Beachcomber too bad. I'm not too attached to their characters, so maybe that'll help.

Re: iGear Cogz/Bushwhacker/Duneraker/Veer
I really like the sculpts, but like some others in the thread... the colors are notably washed out. Swerve and Gears simply look pink. And now if they release a darker version, I'll be pretty mad. It would be like screwing over the initial orders, and trying to dredge for double-orders because fans were dissatisfied. Still, molds are really good.

Re: iGear Cogz/Bushwhacker/Duneraker/Veer
Okay. After some checking, it's my Bushwhacker that a switched shoulder. (His right, or viewed from the front it's on the left.) Give a shout if you have a botched one and want to swap. (Yours would be his left shoulder or viewed on the right from the front.)
You can tell it's switched because it's hollow part is visible. Shoot me a PM if so!

Overall I'm glad I got these guys. Veer's almost pink paint job is the only major issue I have with them, go with the Hasbro version if you want a proper red one. As for the others, the moulds themselves are fun to transform and look great, so I can live with their slightly lighter colours.
This issue with the colours (which should never have happened iGear
) has made me far more reluctant to get their Wheelie. He already looks kinda dodgy, so the very good chance of a screwed up paint job makes him a risky purchase
