did anyone notice how great the details in jet mode come out when he's painted black? the lights on the wingtips etc. it's so more "authentic" as both a G1 toy and a black F-15E that this might just appeal to non-TF fans as well.

Yeah. This Skywarp has the most realistic alt mode. It's good enough for jet plane collectors.

It is indeed a more realistic jet mode. I'm planning to get a VF-1S in the same scale as Skywarp's F-15E. Getting both would be my next holy grail
