Anyone else have him?
I am pretty excited about receiving the 2 foot tall deathtrap banned in north america that is Fortress(brave)Maximus

I've got the Sonokong (Korean?) version of him and I love him to bits. Occasionally I have to put him away for a while, but I have him out a lot. He's a great talking point when visitors come round.

I'm actually using him a lot with my Micromasters at the moment. Although he's not designed for it, certain features work at least as well with the Micros as they do with bigger figs, and there's a nice bit of synchronicity in that the Micro figs are roughly the same size as a Headmaster, so they interact well together. It's like they did it deliberately... :grin:

Retro? Sure, he's retro... but certainly no moreso than you'd expect from a twenty-year-old design.

The fact is, he's extrememly sturdy, and he remains incredibly playable even now.
He's got plenty of fun little features, like the rotating radar dish, launcher ramps and working internal lift, not to mention all those flip-out guns and places to store small cars and figures - he's even got a detention cell in his leg! :grin:

Explain to me about the gun set, I am assuming there were guns that came with the original fort max but not with this reissue (waist guns?)

If so are the gun sets you are talking about KOs?

The gun sets are indeed repros. It's not the waist guns, though, they're built-in, and are part of the RiD release as well as every other.

The guns he's referring to are the big rifle and the double-barreled laser that he can hold in his hands, and that mount on either side of the tower in his alt modes.

That's the entry for the original Fort Max... scroll down to the accessories; the ones he's talking about are the photon rifle and dual laser blaster.
The RiD version comes with the 'mini laser rifle', which belongs to Cerebros, and the radar scope, which you need for his city mode.
The laser and laser arms are for Cog.

Excellent quality KO. Don't know if he has any more, hes been selling a lot of them. Email him if you don't see any.

The real thing will cost you $100 at least easy, this is an EXCELLENT alternative.

Takara left off a lot of stickers on Brave Maximus that were on the original Fortress Maximus release(3 sheets worth!). The reprolabel set has all the stickers Takara left off.

The set is not listed on the reprolabel site, you have to ask for it by email. It's $18.

I'm not surprised, he was selling those guns by the truckload. When I bought mine the others he had up were already gone by the time I had paid for mine! :shock:
