Anyone else buying into this?

Me and the GF bought the starter pack, and two more Skylanders Saturday night to play at my place. On Sunday, she had her own starter pack and I bought another Skylander! We simply can't get enough of this game! This is the first time she's ever shown interest in furiously collecting exclusive figures ever! She'll be a snobby chogokin collector soon enough!

At first I was pretty happy with the gimmick of using a toy to activate a playable character, but after learning that each Skylander figure holds its own level, skills, and gold, right on the toy, I was in love! Activision has loaded the game with tonnes of extra features, to get your money's worth. This isn't the first type of game like this, but it definitely brings the concept to a whole new level!
