and yes, you guys really have no QB...I have to wonder why they didn't draft one in the offseason...
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Uh...?What do you mean we have no QB? We've got Jack Delhomme, who lead us to the Super Bowl, and we have potential backups Brett Basanez and David Carr, who was drafted in the offseason.
OK...Delhomme is a back-up...Carr is a back-up...Basanez is from Northwestern and is barely a back-up. You have QB's but not very good ones. It's like my team Da Bears...three mediocre QBs...at least we have the best "D" in the league and Devon Hester to fall back on...

Did you see him get owned by the Patriots, and former University of Michigan Safety, Marlin Jackson?
I think Hester's very talented, but it was fun seeing a Michigan man wrap him up for a loss.

Oh well, one tackle a season does not make. LOL Just like the Texas Rangers won't win the World Series just because they scored 30 runs in a game...holy crap, that is just ridiculous.

The name is Jake Delhomme, he's a decent QB not a stud just decent. David Carr will be a stud as soon as he gets behind a solid offensive line and gets a year off to heal from his years in Texas... Man I feel sorry for Schuab. The Bears starting QB, Rex Grossman, has alot of potential and I mean alot. The problem is everyone wants him to be the best QB in the NFC and he'll not be that level for another two years if ever. But he's still serviceable and should improve on last year...
Still they all suck when compared to Alex Smith from San Francisco.

Aye some of us actually live off of sports such as Baseball and FOOTBALL!!!
Its all about my Niners and their shot at glory this year.

Don't care what the Pack do because I am a die-hard Giants fan but I just have to do this. I have for years and still to this day profess my love for Bret Favre. The guy is one of the best ever.

I feel sorry for all Giants Fans. They have to suffer with the most overrated Quarterback in the NFL. And they lost their key offensive and defensive players... Pity.

Not to mention that their team is slowly falling apart. I mean if the disrespect for their coach continues into this season, it will be a long one indeed.
I like the direction the Niners are taking. They seem to have a strong foundation and that fact that their division isn't that strong will help them get into the playoffs this season if they play their cards right.

The 49ers passing game does look solid. Alex Smith is a going to be a good QB; the question is: can Frank Gore stay healthy all year and carry the load? I tend to think no on that part...
The Packers losing D.Driver last night is HUGE. Besides, the Packers have zero running game. All teams will have to do is play the pass and rush the QB. I don't think Favre will make it this season without getting hurt and missing time. THe O-line is questionable and the RB is non-existant...they're already down to third string RBs.

I'm an Eagles fan, but I really am rootin for the 49er's this year. I really like the make up of the team and I can see them going deeper this year, and possibly the playoffs. Of course, that also means a healthy team.
Gints...so much potential, but also, there's just to much drama I see going on right now. Maybe if they can get past all that stuff, but I just don't see it happening yet. Not only that but I really think that Tiki was such a huge huuuge part of that offense that I don't know if they'll be able to produce without him.
BTW, anyone looking to join a Fantasy League? Some of us from the Transformers Collectors Club have started a league, but we still might need a few people. Just let me know (pm) if you're interested.

LOL At least I didn't get shotSo, How do you think our Boys will do this year?
Well, I have a gut feeling that they are going to win the division this year (rather than having it, and then letting it slide to the Eagles like last year).
I can see them winning in the first round of the playoffs this, but they will probably lose their second game.
I'm cool with that though, they're going through changes right now, with a new coach and a QB who is still developing a rhythm.
If they can work through this, and finish as well as I predict or even better, I think they will be taking the NFC Championship next year, but will probably lose to whoever wins the AFC.
Of course, this is just what I'm speculating before the season even starts. A couple weeks in and they could pleasantly surprise me or disappoint me. We will see.

That was a very safe, and riding the fence answer FB...
Detroit Lions, the real deal, or just pretending to be a football team again? Nothing better than routing for Lions not to lose everytime the play.
You guys do know that college football is much more fun to watch, until the season ends, and bowl game bids are announced...

Romo is a great QB. He has a lot of talent & potential. & To be quite honest; Anyone was better the Bledsoe
Yea, they are going through a lot of changes. Especially with a new coach. I think this season will be a better year for too. I hope so anyways. I loved it last season, when we beat the colts. Yea, all the colt fans n cowboy haters stayed FAR away from me
