What was your first known TF toy?

Hmm, my memory of that time is a little fuzzy, but I do remember owning a blue Autobot that transformed into a car. I think he was called Scram. I think he was G1, though it may have been G2. Does it ring a bell with anyone?
I don't know why I gave him away to my sister (actually, I do: it was a time when she was more interested in the toys than I was). I shouldn't have done it. Oh well, live and learn.

Well, I'm from Australia, so it could have gone either way. Good to see my mind didn't make him up, though. Thanks for the help.

Well i was born in 1984 so tfs hav been there all my life, i remember having broken toys which i had gotten new, but i was too young to remember them ever being new.
The real first, the one that started my actual collection was Armada Prime. it was a Christmas present as a joke because it looked like power master prime which i had gotten for Christmas about 15 years earlier.
What goes around come around!

My 1st was G1 BumbleBee, but it was the red variant. I got him the same day I had my first major eye test. I had drops in my eyes and couldn't see clearly and picked him not knowing he was red. I got my mom to read the name and when she said BB I just asked for it. The next day when my eyes were back to normal I saw him and was like "huh? why is he red?" lol

He he. My first Bumblebee was red, too. When I finally got the yellow version several years later, he became my first repaint, Hardshell.
But my first Transformer was Huffer, and he's still one of my favourites. Gears followed a little later, then Prime, Soundwave and Buzzsaw that Christmas.

I think I may have had one or two before that but I can't remember if I did or not at all.

Even though it wasn't a trademark "Transformer" I will always remember the watch that pops off the wrist band and turns into a robot. That was my fist roboformer.
My first Transformer could have been Cliffjumper, but I definitly remember Haul as my first, I still have him too.

My first transformers were a bunch of hand me downs from a freind of my brothers, although my favorites were allot of the micromasters and eject. Most of the others were pretty broken. The first Transformer that I can remember my parents buying was Repugnus and then Powermaster Prime.

I got the hand-me-down G1 Transformers my older brother didn't want anymore, and the first one I really remember was Jetfire. Man, that was a sweet toy.

dun laugh..
But I just got my first TF toy today. And I'm very happy to have gotten it at all at this point.
First was Starscream: Voyager, followed by Megatron: Leader Class. He was the last in the whole store. : ( Seriously, I've been having no luck finding the toys I want. Always sold out.
Today is a special day. : )

I got my very first TF twelve years ago in 1995, when I was six years old. My brother and I got some money for a toy and decided to get one of each cool-looking motorcycle robots. I didn't know squat about TransFormers (other than the fact they were robots that transformed) and didn't know anything about these particular characters. My brother liked the black old-style motor cycle and I preferred the red sporty cycle.
We used them as killer drones disguised as a motorcycles for our 3 3/4th " figures.
I was intrigued by the concept of Beast Wars and got Iguanus and Razorbeast as my first BW TFs. Back at the time, I didn't know BW was officially part of TF. I like the idea of BW, probably because I didn't grow up with G1 and didn't expect them to fit in with TF lore. They were a cool concept in their own right and I ended up with quite a few before my 'TF dark ages'.
I started collecting toys as a hobby in 2003, aged 14. Back then, I only collected Star Wars merchandise and an occasional random cool toy. I was intrigued by the SWTFs, which urged me to try out a modern real TF. I picked up two regular Cybertron Ransacks, because they looked like sci-fi cycles and could be displayed as bodyguards for my SWTF General Grievous. I liked these Ransacks so much, they got me totally into TF Cybertron and sucked me into a second collection. Up until this day, I dig the Ransack mold and the superior GTS repaint is my favorite Scout sized TF.
When I discovered TFU.info in 2006, I finally found out the names of the two very first TFs my brother and I had. They were the G2 Laser Cycles; Road Rocket and Road Pig

My first TF was G1 Gears. I had a bunch of Go-Bots at the time and Gears just hung out with the Go-Bots for a while until I got some more TF's.
