A local dvd retailer, Mirax is publishing Armada dvds in Hungary, and on the latest relese's, the fifth dvds cover features a green G1-Classic Prowl:

Anybody has information of whether this character appears in the series or who he is?

It was the best I could come up with without making the image out to be a random exclusive mini-con!

It could be that whoever made the cover was given random scenes and based it on what he thought was a main character, but was in reality a background filler character. They reused a lot of character models from older cartoons for the backgrounds in the Unicron Trilogy.
