who would win this fight to the death

Well, they're Autobots so they probably wouldn't fight to the death, just until one's pretty beat up. Having said that...

The only series, as far as I know, that they were together in were G1 and Animated. And I think Jazz would win in G1 and Prowl would win in Animated. Though Elite Guard Jazz is pretty tough. But Prowl is a ninja, and "P over M" is strong with him.

Jazz. He'd crank out Susan Boyle at 100,000 decibels, which would result in Prowl having to eat his own acid pellets to end his suffering. That and the fact that I've always preferred out-of-the-box thinkers as opposed to analytical ones.

jazz. he's the special ops commander for a reason.

plus, in animated, prowl never finished his training under yoketron. jazz was a graduate.

Prowl has book smarts. Jazz has street smarts. They must be VERY familiar with each other. Prowl is a bit stronger and can analyse the situation extremely well. Jazz makes very skillful, intuitive moves. If Jazz wants to win, he should use his best tricks and bamboozle Prowl before delivering the final blow. If Prowl wants to win, he should anticipate as many tactics as possible and try to counter the ones that are used. Before making his decisive strike. Remember that Prowl can fire TWO missiles at once while Jazz only has one ready.

Anyway, this is academic. They wouldn't fight unless in extremis, or in training.
