Good day,
The more I play with my Ldr Megatron the more I like him. Unfortunately the more I like him the more I realise the one thing that irked me about him is increasingly grating on my nerves. So I ask, hat in hand:
HTF do I modify the face plate in jet mode so that his damn head isn't so freaking obvious? If anyone has a simple way to do this I'd be really grateful. I suck at kitbash, but this problem irks me so much I'm prepared to take a risk at damaging the toy if I can have a chance of rectifying this problem!
TIA...
Advice on Megatron Faceplate Please

Take the Head of in alt mode, just pull on the balljoint.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Thanks, I've done that. I just was a bit more ambitious...

Can you show a pic without his head in alt mode?

Here is your answer: Apoxy sculpt.
The thing is a god send. What yu do is you order two little jars, mix each together until the colors are in colplete unison, then place it over the facemask. Mold it around the head, but don't let it stick too long, or else you will be sorry. Once you have gotten it into the size you want covering the head, pull the head out. let it dry for about 24 hours, and presto! You got a BIG facemask! The stuff dries as hard as plastic, and is s easy to use as clay.
BTW, you can paint it if it doen't match the colors. The issue really doesn't bother me, so I haven't done it.
