can't wait for mine to ship from BBTS. anyone know anything else about this. hopefully it won't be too hard to upload songs seeing that the directions will be in japanese right?

My big question is, can he play Europain mp3 files?

What??? Aren't all mp3 files the same?

I'm guessing he'll be plug & play, then drag & drop/copy & paste for adding files, as that's the standard for mp3 players. It sucks that he doesn't have a screen, and we don't know what kind of batteries he'll require, but I only really want him for his new Soundwave-ness. I wonder how the sound quality will be... I guess EQ settings would be asking too much huh?

I think he also only takes a maximum 1 GB card.

Well you know, like Dvd region 1 and 2's ... uhm ... im not that smart when it comes to music files so i dont know

I'm pretty sure mp3 is a worldwide format...no regions.
