He's going to be making a limited amount. I don't remember him saying 'hundreds' but I know he was going to make a bunch in Prime colors and a small batch of black ones.

The last update from him was in December. The version he had casted & assembled didn't work out, as the joints were not solid and something happened to them.

"I was halfway through its modifications when me and my guys got really busy, and seeing how the first batch turned out I didn't think its really feasible to complete it then. But now that all my guys left the company and I'm on my own I'll find time to complete the mods. Thanks for the support dudes!"
