I really liked Split. Probably my favorite movie of the year so far. Since the only other Shyamalan movie I've seen in its entirety is the Sixth Sense, I had no idea what that ending was about until I looked it up.

I saw Split last night, and was actually surprised by how tense I got watching it. I expected more actual scares than I got, but that's not a problem because it was entertaining. James McAvoy should at least be considered for an Oscar nomination for being able to play so many different personalities. The "twist" at the end wasn't even a twist, more like just a surprise cameo. The movie it referenced was Unbreakable and that movie sucked, so I didn't get all excited over it. Overall, if you like a good tension-building story, I definitely recommend it.

Or it could be a set up for a sequel to the film mentioned in the spoiler tag + i think it's supposed to be part of a trilogy, the first being the one mentioned in the spoiler tag, the second being Split & the third.....?

Maybe Bruce Willis' character from Unbreakable hunting for James McAvoy's character since he got away at the end? They're both near-invincible. I would definitely see that.Stuartmaximus wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:I saw Split last night, and was actually surprised by how tense I got watching it. It's not a theory. The director has confirmed this already.

2016 was bad enough, but 2017 is starting out strong. Just this month Jimmy Snuka, Mary Tyler Moore, and now John Hurt are all gone. At least Kirk Douglas is still kicking. Who will be next to go, I wonder? Shatner? Eastwood? Nicholson? I bet Betty White is going to live forever.

Yeah, but that's what we said about Abe Vigoda.Besides, Vigoda was connected. He knew secrets. Like where bodies were buried in the desert. Or the Jersey swamps. Sh*t like that gets you killed. So he never had a chance.
For a while I assumed Abe Vigoda could only be killed by another Immortal decapitating him and absorbing all of his knowledge and power.

Hmm...I figured his existence was tied to the Necronomicon 1 way or another...Shadowman wrote:For a while I assumed Abe Vigoda could only be killed by another Immortal decapitating him and absorbing all of his knowledge and power.
I saw Gold yesterday, and it was a pretty good movie. McConaughey did really well and the story was good. Loved the ending. Go see it.

I saw Resident Evil: The Final Chapter yesterday. It was on par with the others in the series, so if you liked them, you'll like this one. Not sure why they call it The Final Chapter, as the ending was open-ended. Yes, the antidote was released, but Alice pointed out it's a long time between the release of the cure and its' spreading worldwide. A lot can happen in-between.

i think they left it that way coz at one time they were thinking of doing a tv series, and it prob would've continued on from there

The idea of Scarlet Johanson in a super-tight outfit like that is completely drowned out by the fact that they cast a white woman in the role of a Japanese woman.
