Omega Supreme claw arm

Hi, I just got an Omega Supreme claw off eBay to go with parts I found at a flea market. Are the claws supposed to be all floppy or are they supposed to click into place and not move? Does the darker plastic the three claws are in come out for repair if so?

It is supposed to click/lock in position.
