So I just got robo-vision Optimus Prime ( Target Exclusive) amongst other things, and I've noticed something. Either he's not all that shiny, or metallic paint is not what it used to be. I at least expected to see a little metallic paint flakes but nope, not there. Anyone else have this fig and can confirm that this is what it's supposed to look like. Here are some pics.

Yeah its not all cgloss shiny but if you compare it to the regular version all the gray is just molded plastic. Robo is painted on the grays so it stands out a little more

Mine looks just the same.
My only complaint is the parts snapping of while I was taking him out of the package. Otherwise, he's tied with BB for my favorite TF movie figure.

Robo Vision is the one with the flames on the feet. They did paint all of the gray parts to a semigloss silver.

I like my robo-vision. I also picked up a gold paint marker and colored in the the parts that are suppose to be gold but weren't painted because ppl are to cheap. So I'm happy with mine

Would have been nice if they'd done the hands and feet in silver too, they're still dull grey. But the mould is growing on me slowly and robovision looks the more impressive of the two.

Too bad they didn't do the feet.

Warning for those who are considering getting this one: Check the in-package paint job! I got a nice factory scratch across Prime's grill in the shiny metal paint, I could have caught that at the store. It's not too late for you!!!
