Transformers the movie toys + reaping the rewards

Postby Electron » Sat Sep 22, 2007 5:41 pm

I currently have no items from the new transformers the movie, and i was wondering if i were to buy any, u no to put away and possibly sell in the future, are there any rare or unique characters, i should be looking to buy? :D

Thats assuming the older the toy gets the pricier it gets, e.g. G1 toys

Umm, if you had payed attention, tehre were problems with the new waves because it was such in high demand. Everything is catching up now, people are starting to find stuff. Bumblebee and arcee are for sure worth it.

I always thought that was the point of an MISB collection, myself. Have you seen what some of these things go for still in a factory-sealed package?

Personally, it's not my style; all of my bots are out of the package and I display them.

yeah not my style either. i would much rather enjoy my toys than make a quick buck off them.

he's not talking about a quick buck; he's talking about keeping them MISB for a long time, like the *occasional* MISB G1 and G2 bots you'll see go for insane amounts on ebay.

well, in that case, i would suggest all G1 variants, the main characters in all classes, and arcee.

you're not missing much if you don't have any. in my opinion, they all suck and aren't worth picking up. they look awful and from all the complaints i've read, they weren't even made very well either. if you still decide to get some i'd probably go with leader prime, '08 bumblebee, and g1 repaint jazz.
