They mentioned it being today on the Today show this morn too..

They said "on this Veterans Day"...

But it's on the 11th. That's the designated date for it, has been for almost a 100 years. (It's in honor of the end of World War I, if you didn't know.)

Yeah I thought I knew that, apparently not though. It will teach me not to rely on my bloody calendar.
