What's the best Soundwave?
So what's the best sound wave toy out there?
Possibility is one of the most important things to me, something that G1 sound wave seemed to lack. I've seen people talk pretty highly of Cybertron Soundwave, is he any good.

I have to agree that the original is the best... Im not trying to be a G1 elitist or anything- the TRU exclusive SOundwave is also great. I never did really like the Cybertron version.

The best is ML Soundwave. Hands Down. TRU Reissue is number two.

I don't remember there being a Micron Legend Soundwave?
Since there haven't been that many Soundwave toys that actually look like Soundwave. I'd have to say G1 for he is the Original he is the best.
But other than that I think Cybertron Soundwave is pretty decent.

Ahh that makes sense. A little too expensive for my tastes and is limited to a 2GB mem card.
But I'll admit he does look good.

*cough* 1GB, but the battery should be dead before you listened to everything on a full card.
I managed to squeeze more than five hours of music out of a half full card, battery is supposed to last for about six hours, mine did triple that, but I think I cheated.

I'm pretty partial to the 6" titanium figure myself. I have a G1 Soundwave from back when I was a kid, and the titanium one "feels" more like Soundwave to me. It's also the one that's out on my desk. Kind of like how the Classics Starscream looks more Starscream-y than the G1 original. If you can find it at Target, at least take a look at the 6" titanium, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

It's limited to whatever size card you buy. It dosnt come with a card, you have to buy one (I have a 2gb one in mine).
To my memory there are:
- G1 Soundwave (origanal, verious Japanese reissues, the TrU 2 cassette door reissue)
- G1 Soundblaster (repaint of G1 Soundwave with the 2 cassette door)
- WSTF G1 Soundwave
- Some uggly ass Japanese Beastwars toy called Soundwave
- Machine Wars Soundwave
- Cybertron/Galaxy Force Soundwave
- Galaxy Force Soundblaster (Repaint of Cyb/GF Soundwave)
- Titainium Soundwave
- Music Line Soundwave
Of those I'd recomend G1 (preferably flat chested), WSTF, the GF version of Cyb/GF Soundwave (better paint apps) and ML Soundwave.
I wouldnt mine the MW one too, although the origanal version of the mold (released in the UK and worshiped by Burn

I like Soundwave (Best Decepticon ever) and all but it's easily said which one is best.
1) Music Label Soundwave: Honestly, MP3, Nice mold, and very posable. This thing wins hands down.
2) G1 Soundwave: It's hard not to mess with the originals. Besides the TRU version has to be the best remake of him via Double tape door. Also you gotta love all the minions.
3) Cybertron/Galaxy Force Soundwave: Nice design, strange way of talking. The stealth bomber helps with his information gathering. Also Nice update with the Cassettes becoming a hexagon thingy.

Yeah Cyb. Soundwave is pretty cool. But the downside is that Laserbeak is a BOMB. A freaking BOMB. How useful is that? I can picture it now:
Cyb. Soundwave: "Laserbeak, eject. Operation Destruction."
Laserbeak: "CAW!"
Blaster: "Yo, what the f-"
BOOM!!!
Cyb. Soundwave: "Laserbeak, return. Laserbeak? Laserbeak? Aww Crap. Not again! Oh well. Cassetticons, to the Pawn Shop!"

*shrug* Box says 1GB.
Nice to have a statement that he takes more, last time I asked, there was no response.
