DotM Deluxe Leadfoot?

Postby Dean ML » Fri Mar 01, 2013 10:15 pm

After cancelling his US release last year, Hasbro said they wanted to find a way to distribute this figure here eventually. Any word about that from last month's toy show? If not, does anybody want to sell me their deluxe Leadfoot? PM me.

Sorry. No word on any DOTM Deluxe Leadfoot release in the US.

Also, Hasbro saying that they wanted to find a way to distribute eventually went towards the last couple of Prime: First Edition figures that got cancelled, in which case they fulfilled their promise.

Don't forget DotM Wheeljack and Deluxe Soundwave for the Asian Market.

Leadfoot is a difficult case I imagine, since his main sponsor was Target. Target declined his release, and nobody else can carry him without eliminating the logos like the TakaraTomy version did.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

- Jelze Bunnycat =:3

Looking for:
- TR Furos (Hardhead's head) and Crashbash (lost him :()
- PotP Punch head
- TR Galvatron right arm (the gun one)
- CW Brake-Neck/UW Wildrider, CW Offroad
- TR Twinferno & Grotusque
- Greenlight, Lancer and PotP Elita-1
- Legacy Core Slug, Sludge & Snarl

Yeah, I got Soundwave and Wheeljack at reasonable prices but was wondering if I should wait for a US release or pull the trigger on eBay before prices go higher as he becomes more scarce. Really need him to complete my movie collection. I'd definitely get Reprolabels if I got the Takara release.

The intended Target exclusive 2-pack with Topspin has surfaced on EBay a few times, so count a proper US release out.

Speaking of Que and Soundwave being in Asia...

Here's something else to add to the poor distribution of Hasbro.
A store in Singapore recently found few sealed cases of Ques... But since DOtM is 2 years outdated... No kid is going to buy it. So what do they do?

This.

$8 SGD.

Either way, I'm looking forward to the next movie line. Anytime I consider selling my movie collection, thinking about future releases for years to come gets me excited about it again. The movie line will end up being one of the longest lived of all TF lines, right with G1 and Masterpiece. Just hope we've seen the last of MechTech.
