So I noticed that either Walmart has raised the price of the single Joes or they don't all share the same pricing throughout the country.
I remember first buying Joes from one Walmart for $4.88 while today at a different Walmart I noticed a new price of $5.44. Whaz up wit dat!?
Also a while back acouple of us were discussing the re-re-release of the
Joe series on DVD. I noticed that on agapetoons.com, which advertises here on Seibertron(google ads) they offered the whole series, broken up, for pretty cheap. Has anybody bought any of these? Are they good quality DVDs?

Man, I'm overspending on Joes but I love it. This week I got the #21B comic pack, the #1 comic pack, Cobra Commander, and Snow Job. I'm also working on a GI Joe figure comic; here's the first 'issue':

Haha, that was pretty good 1337! The only thing I'd say is try to arrange the word balloons so that they're read in order. I'm mainly talking about the shot with Clutch and he says "First...," but it's below the balloon with "Second..." But anyways. Look forward to see what the Joes think of their updated selves!
Still haven't found gold-head Destro, or the newer figures like Rock & Roll.
I took some pics of my 25th Joes that I have up on my computer desk.

The Baroness Will Have Black Hair in G.I. Joe
Fans everywhere can relax, Sienna Miller will have black hair when she plays the Baroness in G.I. Joe. Talking to Access Hollywood at the Independent Spirit Awards, Miller confirmed that the character would have the familiar jet-black hair.
"I have a black wig and guns and all leather and it's all fantastic," the actress enthused about her role.
G.I. Joe stars Ray Parks (Snake-Eyes), Sienna Miller (The Baroness), Rachel Nichols (Scarlett), Said Taghmaoui (Breaker), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Heavy Duty), Marlon Waynes (Ripcord), Channing Tatum (Duke), Dennis Quiad (Hawk), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Cobra Commander), Arnold Vosloo (Zartan), Karolina Isela Kurkov (Cover Girl) and Christopher Eccleston (Destro). The film is scheduled for an August 7, 2009 release.

That comic was hysterical. Photoshop is a beautiful thing. So today I was putting something in my closet when I turned my head and noticed some of my old joes peaking out of my other closet. I haven't even looked at these guys in at least 12 years if not longer so I grabbed a flashlight and took a look through the crack, (door broke, long story.) I had forgotten a lot of what I had namely the old Crosswinds Coppter/Jet, the Cobra rocket jet that came with the Astro Viper, and a small gaggle of Tiger Force vehicles and figures. There were two vehicles though that I couldn't place that maybe one of you could help with. The first is a Joe vehicle that features a gun turret that can telescope out of the base vehicle. The gun is gray on a green platform and telescopes out using a series of interlocked gray plastic beams. It is a small vehicle, only a one seater, that is silver. The second vehicle is a Cobra snow vehicle that features a hidden missile rack that rotates up from the base of the vehicle and can be launched by flicking them against their textured top runners. It's a two seat cockpit with a place for guys to stand towards the back. I am pissed I can't remember the name because I remember having some fun with it.

That site is amazing as I go to it several times a day for info. Unfortunately since I don't have a year or even a clue as to what it was named I SOL on identifying it. I was impressed with the WHOBIT section as it helped me identify Backblast from his knife. Cool stuff.

WHICH G.I.JOE COMIC TWO PACK DO YOU THINK IS THE BEST
Since there is topic about upcoming 25th anniversary vehicle. I thought it would be cool to get some different prospectives on 25th anniversary comic two packs which ones are well done and which ones to avoid as well as return of the mail away figure.
I own three of them and I would rank them in this order:
1. Crimson twins(amazing figures couldn't find a flaw and they have the mirror image thing down which is a bonus.)
2. Torch and Ripper(have always loved these figures and it like a trip back in time for me.)
3. Capt. Ace and Wild Weasel (there fine figure it just that there better with respective vehicles.)

Did I read that right? The teenager from 3rd Rock From The Sun is going to play Cobra Commander? Ya know, that's not that bad. A younger bratty CC could work well with an older Destro playing him for a fool.

Just got the Fred/scarface two pack and again i have to say, as an old school Gi Joe comic fan, i continue to be amazed by this series and its fanboy service.
a scarface figure??? man at this point i wouldnt be suprised if we got a DR Venom figure.

I'm still getting used to the fact that the 1986 movie takes place 3 years in the past now.

Nope major blood has been moved to another wave just announced not that long ago on G.I.Joe club website. I don't know who they are replacing him with that hasn't been announced yet. As far as doctor mindbender goes I hope we get him as well he is one of my favorite character. I think we will get him in the arise serpentor arise battle pack but I'm just guess right now.

They did make a Kwinn figure a few years back in a comic 3 pack. Also when they did the Cobra Trooper troop building set two years or so ago the XO in each set was Scarface although he wasn't named.

Yeah there make a bunch of battle packs each one comes with a dvd of the min-series that the battle pack is based off, also if you collect all of them you will be able to build a scale version of the mass device kind of like the marvel packs where you get to build a figure at the end.
