i was at toys r us in cuyahoga falls today and i can't say I'm surprised at what i saw. you can't see it but there is one wheeljack, its way in the back in the top column.

Use my pic i posted earlier. It's a real humm-dinger. I counted a 100 or more BB's in it.

That was just at one TRU. I tried to get a pic the the other day at anouther TRu that was just as bad but the lighting was terrible.

How odd, I was examining our feature wall of TF's Prime at work today, and all I saw was a wall of red and white. People must have an intense dislike for Cliffjumper and Wheeljack. Not a Bumblebee in sight. Even the 1 per case Soundwave was still there...
The Weaponiser Bumblebee's are almost gone... Prime on the other hand, you couldn't give him away.
How very interesting...

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one that noticed that all of the stores are glutted with nothing but Bumblebees... I'd give my left foot for a store that actually had a decent selection of ANY of the other bots in Prime. I'm still questing for a Knockout... XC

I'm probably just going to have to break down (no pun intended) and go to Amazon to buy him...

there were 17 bumblebees in that target. there were 10 deluxes and 7 cyberverse. needless to say its been a bad night. also toys r us is the same.

Target, Sydney, Australia.
But it's the same wherever I go. Be it Toys R Us, K Mart, or Big W (another retailer similar to Target).
The Prime toys have been keeping shelves warm for quite a while now. It seems there's really little interest from the general public, except for when they go on sale for 20-25% off.
Not once have I walked into a retailer and seen a pegs and pegs full of Bumblebee sitting there idly...I still find it hard to fathom after looking at all of these photos. You chaps must be getting the 10 'Bee's per case assortment of figures.

I'm planning on hitting Target on Saturday in a vain attempt to find Vehicon. I'm expecting to find more of the Bumblebonic plague, which I'll get a picture of.

I saw that new grey and yellow BB repaint at TRU last night, but still no sign of Vehicon at ANY local stores. (I just ordered the AM version from Takara because I'm tired of looking for it.)

The TRU has had some non-BB Deluxes on the racks from time to time, but my local Target has had NOTHING BUT BBs for the past month or two.

Back in the day before retailers became such rigid, unimaginative, policy-bound corporate nightmares it's likely that this problem would have been addressed by putting just the BBs into a bin and selling them at a clearance price until the ranks were thinned to sane levels again. It also may have involved the buyers calling Hasbro to complain about the plethora of non-selling figures being loaded into the cases.

Now, it's as if a computer just runs everything from a purely numerical standpoint and the humans must obey without question or deviation from "the plan" even if "the plan" is failing miserably!

I went to my local Walmart yesterday and there were 3 b's on the shelf…there was also Deadend and the Energon Driller and Wheeljack's ship…there is hope.
