Marvel Comics: what do you think?
- Weapon: Twin Shock-Concussion Missiles
How many people have read the Marvel Comics (U.S. or U.K.)? I loved the UK comics. They added a lot of detail on look into characters that the US did not. But i do love the Marvel Comics the best so far. Tell me what you think. I am going to go back and reread them here soon.

I haven't read a lot of the early Marvel stuff. But the later part of the Marvel series when Simon Furman became the writer and then Generation 2 is a great run in comics.
I have all the IDW paperbacks and I've been meaning to read the entire Marvel run.

I did enjoy g2 i thought they were a lot of fun and would have loved for them to keep the stories going. The UK stuff is really good i really like the stuff that takes place after the movies and the stuff with the Dinobots.

G1/G2 Marvel Comics are the best series cartoon or comics Transformers have ever had. The Underbase Saga and the Matrix Quest are great story arcs, but the last 12 G1 issues along with G2 are the best read in TF comics, period. None of the DW or IDW stuff is any better. Maybe DW's War Within comes close, but that's it.

I would have to agree i do enjoy the DW and IDW stuff but the writing is better in MArvel. But i would say that goes for a lot of the older comics. I am reading the older X-men and i like them so much more than the new stuff. The is acutally writing and it takes time to read as new comics are so much picutres that it takes 5 min to read one book but it is still fun.

Yeah, I remember the older X-Men. Specifically Storm having a big mohawk. Awesome.
