Kind of vehicle would be neat for Dinobot if he was in the beast machines or became a decepticon? I was thinking more of the line of that new Jet, F-22 Raptor. He was a veliociraptor in the beast wars

I always figured an armored dune-buggy (similar to Allspark Landmine) would be most appropriate. Rugged, well armed, and fast.

I always thought a Jeep style buggy/Paris-Dakar Rally vehicle would be a great alt mode for a vehicular BW Dinobot, for the same reasons, tough and quick over terrain.

Well hold on, she's talking about 'the' Beast Machines, so I would think Dinobot would be something along the lines of a Komodo Dragon or something, I dunno. If we're talking Dinobot 2 however, I say Megatron would've done the whole spark extraction, and shoved him into a Vehicon.

After being betrayed by Dinobot twice, I doubt Megatron would've freed his spark, his Honour would have overridden the programming!
