The name Starcatcher is not a recycled name, besides, Starcatcher is a 2007 Transformers Club exclusive which came packaged with Astrotrain. Starcatcher also has a variant. One comes in a grey body,violet wheels,and white arms, and the other one comes with a white body,grey wheels and red orange arms.

Nope. Rather it's a smal pun on "star" and "cowcatcher", since he (and Comettor) can function as Astrotrain's (and A-Jetfire's) landing gear
