Normally, she never bothers checking Transformers for me because she suspects I already have everything or she doesn't know what I have. But she just called me from the Wal-Mart a few minutes asking me if I had that black Titanium figures with flames, if not, she would buy it. First sighting for The Fallen in my area and it's mine! Woohoo!

it makes me feel loved when people that are close to me call me and tell me what's in stock at xyz store they happen to be at at the time ;;)

Especially my girlfriend, since she rolls her eyes and stuff whenever i talk about my hobby ;)

Actually, she's the one who created the monster I've become when she innocently bought me some "Energon Star Saber" sword combiner way back then. :)

Coup de théâtre!

She just arrived, showed me The Fallen (yay!) and then, as we were eating, told me she spotted that non-transformable "annoying little robot from the movie".

-Frenzy?
-Yes!
-Shit! That means they finally got the wave with Prime, they're part of the same wave! Did you see Prime?!?
-No... only Frenzy and Megatron... but I think you already have him?
-Yes... maybe Prime was on the top shelf or buried somewhere, I should go back tomorrow to check it out...
-Dammit. Go get it, your Prime is in the car under the front seat. It's just IMPOSSIBLE to make you surprises!!!

I do also consider myself lucky. My wife regularly calls me from stores telling me what they have in stock, somtimes she even knows what I'm looking for and just picks it up.

Hearing stories like this gives me hope that I'll meat a special girl like that someday!

Kinda reminds me of a buddy of mine, his girlfriend whenever their over tends to like to play around with any of my transformers that I have around.

I think a good amount of us are fortunate enuff to have wives/gfs that enjoy making us happy... My wife doesnt collect TFs but she definitely helps me hunt for them and I know she loves to find something I dont have... I love her so much and congrats on having a good TF hunting wife too!!

I can beat that, I was lying in bed one day as it was my day off and the postman knocked at the door with a package.

I didn't think anything of it at the time as we do a lot of internet shopping, but a few minutes later the missus comes up with breakfast and gets me to open the post.

What did I find? Only a bloody MISB E-hobby Sunstorm thats' what!

My Wife rocks :x

I forgot to mention that despite how my gf doesn't really like my hobby or anything, she has gone to japan twice since like 2004, and both times, she went out of her way to find me tf loot!

the first time she found me the superlink bruticus giftset, and superlink wingsaber, and the second time, revoltech optimus prime, mp 03, and hotrod, cybertron commander Convoy, and ironhide mega scf non-transformable takara figures that appear to look like they are from the armada/micron-legends line.

oh, all that, and a knockoff transforming gun, yay!

.. that's a lot of stuff to bring carry-on style from japan, she's awesome for doing it :D
