we all know hasbro's somehow in their game but still, there are some folks that are having problems when it comes to our toys whether it's the paint or the figure itself or the mechanism so i decided to come up with this topic that if just in case you will be the one who will create tf toys (assuming you have your own toy comapny) what elements of toy making will you focus on?

sculpt/mold - focuses on sculpture of the figure varying on size/scale and physical details

paint - focuses on colors, washes and color application

articulation - primarily parts that moves for useful poses like elbows, head, knees etc.

accessories - extra bonus parts for figures to use like weapons and stuff.

special features - attractive part or unique part that makes us curious how it works eg. automorph, firing misiles, transforming methods

all comments and replies will be so much appreciated thanks

Motto: "Don't do drugs, beer's cheaper anyway!"
Well I'de go for sculpting, articulation, paint and interesting part.
I don't care for stuff like firing missiles.
And they would all be as big as voiger class.

i'll go with the paint this is one of the most important part that collector's look the realistic application of a color add more details on a certain figure let's take an example, ironhide in robot mode is fine but his color is simply just plain black he would have look nice if he looks shiny with mettalic effect on the black color... even the shelfwarmer of the year will become a hotcake if the paint is nice enough...

True, Tits WW Megs hasn't got that much articulation, but his paintaps pared with the look make him badass!

The problem with Hasbro is (Although) they're top of their class, they think about MASS marketing as their number 1 issue! Give the piece firing weapons, make it in the price range that appeals to the big audience!.

It's SO annoying because they have the ability to produce the best toys but are held back by their own success, Look at Mc Farlane.. Lots more 'hands on production' to give the toy a realistic finish!, The fact that by adding after market finishings to produce a stunning product are so common, shows that Hasbro could be so much better!

The paint is sloppy , most automorphs stink from the movie toys and the plastic is brittle, especially the pegs.
