Resin ball-joint durability?

My RiD Galvatron is missing one of the twin dragon heads, and thus missing a foot. I've been considering duplicating the one he's got via resin-casting, but I'm hesitant because it uses a ball joint. How well do resin-cast ball joints hold up?
